Director of Community Education

Welcome!

It is my privilege to be serving the families and students of the Prior Lake-Savage Area School District and our local communities. Prior to joining the PLSAS Community Education team, I spent the last 20 years as a Coordinator and then the Director of Community Education and Services for the Westonka Public Schools in Mound, MN. My wife, Steph, our four children and two dogs currently live in Shakopee. We are a very active family with the three older kids all involved in various activities and our youngest who certainly keeps us on our toes. We love sports, being outdoors, and just spending time together as a family.

I am committed to continuing the tradition of excellence that the PLSAS Community Education
department has achieved and to grow our programs to meet the ever changing needs of our
communities. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all citizens by helping to provide
opportunities for individuals and families to reach their full potential and contribute to their
communities. We believe that you are never done learning. No matter your age, we provide
opportunities to expand your horizons, hone your talents, learn new hobbies and grow as a family.
Our three seasonal catalogs are mailed out to all PLSAS District residents. Many of our classes fill up quickly, so be sure to get registered early!
