After School Late Pick-up Information
Community Education programs end promptly at their scheduled end time (i.e. after school programs end at either 4:05 or 4:55 p.m. depending on the school). The child's authorized pick-up person should pick up when the class ends. If you will be arriving after the program ends please notify the Community Education office at 952-226-0310 and make arrangements for an emergency contact or authorized pick-up person to pick-up your child. We ask that you prepare in advance for poor road conditions due to weather.
If a child is picked-up from a program 10 minutes after the class ends, Community Education will assess a late pick up fee. Fees are as follows:
-
Late Arrival up to 10 mins - $20
-
Late Arrival between 11-20 mins - $40
-
Late Arrival beyond 20 mins - $60
If your child is not picked up and you or your emergency contacts cannot be reached 30 minutes after the class ends, local authorities may be called to take responsibility for your child.
If you are significantly late to pick up your child more than 3 times, Community Ed has the right to remove your child from any Community Ed programs with no refunds.
Am I in?
Yes - unless you hear from us. Community Education does not mail class confirmations. If you have an email address at the time of registration, a confirmation will be emailed to you. If you do not hear from us, assume that you are in the class and that it will be held at the time and place indicated. We will contact you by phone or email if there is a change. Please list a daytime phone number so we can reach you if a class is cancelled. If there is a last minute change, signs are posted at each site with your class information on it such as class title, room numbers and times of classes.
Cancellation
Community Education reserves the right to withdraw a course due to lack of enrollment or loss of a suitable facility. If we have to cancel a class, every effort will be made to contact all the participants who preregistered. Please include on your registration form a phone number where you can be contacted during the day. Community Education assumes no responsibility for reaching registrants who do not provide an accessible daytime phone number. When ever possible messages will be left on voicemail/answering machines. If an email is provided at time of registration, notifications will also be sent to the address provided.
Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather or for other unavoidable reasons. These sessions are made up whenever possible. If school closes during the day due to bad weather, Community Education will cancel all activities.
Call (952) 226-0310 for evening or weekend cancellation information.

Non-endorsement Policy
Prior Lake-Savage Community Education works with specialists in their fields who are interested in presenting classes in their areas of expertise to the community. We do not endorse the opinions or business affiliations of the instructors.
All financial seminars are carefully screened to ensure they are strictly informational in nature. Although most seminars are presented by professional financial planners, the design is non-biased and non-sales oriented. You will not be pressured to make a purchase or meet with sales people. We prohibit the direct distribution of flyers, pamphlets or marketing materials that promote specific products, services or companies. We do, however, offer you the opportunity to receive an instructor’s business card or you can ask for more information should you have additional, specific questions that go beyond the content or time frame of the seminar. We hope your participation in these programs will be enjoyable. For questions, call Jenny at (952) 226-0315.
